Asie To Become Luna Loca – Serving Up A Latin Asian Fusion Twist

We sat down with Jason Saal, GM, of La V Vietnamese Fusion, Asie and Nouvelle Beauty Bar, and were given some exciting news. Asie’s last day will be Wednesday, November 21st. The restaurant will shut down for a week and then reopen as Luna Loca (which means Crazy Moon in Spanish) on Friday, November 30th.

Luna Loca will feature a Latin menu with an Asian twist. Owner, Thuy Le, has travelled all over Asia, Spain, Ibiza, etc and hopes to bring those flavors to downtown St Petersburg. The menu is simple and easy to navigate.

They will feature live music on Friday and Saturday nights, having built a stage towards the front of the space. There will be an area for dancing in the evenings. The space has been given a more lounge like feel with an actual lounge in the back of the restaurant. It is more relaxing, inviting and lively.

They will now be open on Sundays so you can add them into your Sunday Funday plans. Friday thru Sunday they will stay open until 1am, stopping dinner service at 10pm, but serving dessert until close. They will be closed on Mondays.
