Crunchy, green and juicy. The cucumber. Famous for their role in salads, but now starring in a feature film with gin! Mix fresh cucumber and lime with a little gin, and you're in business. The Cutecumber is a simple cocktail that will impress and refresh.
I wrote the recipe for one drink, but if you wanted to make a small pitcher for sharing, you could just multiply the ingredients by four.
[Editor's note: In the recipe below just change the number of servings right on the page and the measurements will automatically adjust.]
Not a drinker? No problem! Leave out the gin, and swap it for extra soda water. The drink is still just as refreshing, and kids will probably get a kick out of the bright green color.
If you don't like gin, feel free to swap for vodka. There won't be a huge difference in taste; I've done it before. I just use gin because the herbaceous qualities of the gin pairs harmoniously with the cukes. Either way, cheers!
