The Farm-to-Table Concept at Naked Farmer is Exceptional for a Wholesome Meal in Downtown St. Pete

An entire meal curated from local farms in Florida is now right at our fingertips in downtown St. Pete at Naked Farmer. Their nutritious food options are farm-to-table fresh with amazing flavors and generous portion sizes. You’ll most definitely feel your best after chowing down on one of their delicious bowls.

The convenience of Naked Farmer’s pickup and delivery gives no excuse but to have a healthy meal for lunch or dinner. I found it so easy to get on their website, order my meal and quickly run in and out. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well, which is located right across from the bustling bar scene on Central, perfect for people watching!

The interior is very modern with light wooden beams, gorgeous black accents and shiny white marble tables. Eventually, when things get back to normal, I can imagine Naked Farmer being a popular lunch spot for meetings or casual dinners with friends after a yoga class.

The sustainable concept at Naked Farmer is exceptional for a healthy meal full of wholesome ingredients. The first time I visited Naked Farmer, I ordered one of the chef’s combinations and the second time I created my own bowl. Both bowls were fabulous!

LOCAL FARMER Citrus charred chicken, charred broccoli with lemon, roasted sweet potatoes, brown rice with parsley, garlic aioli.

Citrus charred chicken, charred broccoli with lemon, roasted sweet potatoes, brown rice with parsley.

The Local Farmer has a brown rice base with juicy citrus charred chicken, charred broccoli with a little zang from the lemon, and roasted sweet potatoes. I also got the house-made garlic aioli and house-made sriracha. Surprisingly from someone who loves condiments, I didn’t feel the need for any extra toppings since each item was already so full of flavor. Of course I still tried the dressings and they were great. The house-made sriracha is very spicy, which I loved but some may need a little warning!

I can’t believe how amazing this meal was for how simple the ingredients are. From the crisp on the broccoli to the soft and tasty sweet potatoes and perfectly tender chicken, I could seriously eat this meal every night of the week.

Next up was a Make Your Own Bowl.

Make Your Own Bowl- Gulf of Maine Salmon, pecan kale caesar, charred broccoli with lemon, brown rice with parsley
Make Your Own Bowl- Gulf of Maine Salmon, pecan kale caesar, charred broccoli with lemon, brown rice with parsley and house-made pesto.

To start, the Gulf of Maine Salmon was incredible. It was super light, fresh and flakey, I didn’t want it to be gone! The pecan kale caesar had a zesty flavor to it which I enjoyed. The pecans from the kale caesar salad were an added touch of crunch that paired great with the meal. As mentioned above, the broccoli was delicious with a little char to it and just look at that portion size! I tried the house-made pesto, but again it wasn’t totally necessary because of the flavors of everything else!

This meal really left me speechless! I’m so excited that such a delicious and healthy meal like this one is quickly available. These bowls were both outstanding. I can’t wait to continue to try new combinations. On my next visit, I’ll be ordering the Seasonal Beef (100% grass-fed) since I’ve heard great things!

I couldn’t resist ordering the Farmhouse Mac & Cheese, it was calling my name.

One thing that really stood out to me was how simple it was to jump online and order a bowl. It was ready within 10 minutes too which is perfect for when you’re seeking a quick lunch downtown, after a workout, or really any time! Eating clean and local never seemed so easy until Naked Farmer came to town!
