Nueva Cantina Tampa Location Announced

Nueva Cantina’s 2nd Location Coming in June

Nueva Cantina, “That Mexican Place” in downtown St. Pete, just announced that they will be opening their second location in the Ballast Point area of South Tampa, in the spot that used to be Love’s Artifacts Bar and Grille.

General Manager and Co-Owner, Louie Spetrini, told us that they will have the same menu as St. Pete, with the addition of some fun pizza items—Mexican Pizza, of course—and others, as there is a “beautiful copper pizza oven” in the middle of the restaurant. Roasted oysters anyone? Yes, please!

“We are excited that the talented Vitale Brothers are creating another spectacular space, and to have Chef Paul once again at the helm.”

There is a nice outdoor bar with a 73-seat patio where you can shoot the breeze and some tequila too.

There’s a stage for live entertainment, including DJs and bands, on the weekends.

The Vitale Brothers will start their work this week, and owners Rocco & Erin Rinaldi, along with Spetrini are pushing for an early June opening.

To keep things fun, exciting and delicious leading up to the opening, Nueva Cantina’s food truck will be on site (starting around May 1st) serving up street tacos on-site while they do the buildout. So stop by, eat some drool-worthy food, and take pics of the new place in progress.
