Book and Bottle Hild Elblling Sekt
A glass of Hild Elbling Sekt

I tried a few wines before settling with a glass of the Hild Elbling Sekt. This sparkling wine is spunky, acidic, and fruity. With a supple apple taste, it put me right in the spirit of the upcoming fall season.

I also really enjoyed a glass of Time Place Picpoul which is a light white wine. It was pleasantly easy to sip on with its slight fruity smooth taste, floral notes, and a touch of salinity.

If you bring your non-wine drinking friends, fear not, they have a great beer selection with many local brews to choose from.

Book and Bottle Take Home Wine
Bottles To-Go

You’ll never get bored with the bottles you can choose to take home with you. I picked up a Lady of The Mandrake Cabernet Sauvignon and a Tormaresca Calafuria Rosé to enjoy during the week until it’s time to go back and pick up a few more. Their wine selection is impressive with great descriptions of each bottle.

Book and Bottle Iced Latte
Iced Latte with Oat Milk

They serve Methodical Coffee from Greenville, South Carolina. It’s absolutely delicious! The iced latte with oat milk was exactly what I needed for a boost of energy. I loved how smooth and creamy it was, plus the coffee was strong and very fresh. Their coffee menu also offers cappuccino, americanos, chai lattes, and more.

Book and Bottle Sunset Orange Rooibos
Sunset Orange Rooibos

Nothing says rainy day vibes more than sipping on hot tea at a book store. The tea comes either as a cup, iced or as a pot. They have a great selection from oolong, earl grey, rooibos, and more. I settled with the Sunset Orange Rooibos which was lovely. The orange aroma and flowery taste were calming and delicious.

Book + Bottle Pimento Cheese Dip

Also on the menu are light snacks from savory dips to sweet treats. The Pimento Cheese Dip was a great choice to satisfy my munchies. The cheese was fresh and sharp with even a slight spice to it. You can’t go wrong with a cheese dip!
