If you're looking for a place in St. Pete to spruce up your book or wine selection, look no further than Book + Bottle. Tucked away right off of Central Ave, you'll find this beautiful wine, coffee bar, and book store. With such charm, the environment is welcoming and relaxing to sit back and enjoy a new book while sipping on something delicious.
Whether you like reading books or wine labels, Book + Bottle has you in great hands. Their library of books and wine is impressive and will easily have you coming back time and time again to try something new! The book selection offers a variety of genres from bestsellers, fiction, classics, children's books, and more!
Their wine menu changes weekly so there are always new ones to try! From sparkling, white wine, rosé, and red wine, there's a special pour for everyone. They also have three wines on tap that will change seasonally.
I tried a few wines before settling with a glass of the Hild Elbling Sekt. This sparkling wine is spunky, acidic, and fruity. With a supple apple taste, it put me right in the spirit of the upcoming fall season.
I also really enjoyed a glass of Time Place Picpoul which is a light white wine. It was pleasantly easy to sip on with its slight fruity smooth taste, floral notes, and a touch of salinity.
If you bring your non-wine drinking friends, fear not, they have a great beer selection with many local brews to choose from.
You'll never get bored with the bottles you can choose to take home with you. I picked up a Lady of The Mandrake Cabernet Sauvignon and a Tormaresca Calafuria Rosé to enjoy during the week until it's time to go back and pick up a few more. Their wine selection is impressive with great descriptions of each bottle.
They serve Methodical Coffee from Greenville, South Carolina. It's absolutely delicious! The iced latte with oat milk was exactly what I needed for a boost of energy. I loved how smooth and creamy it was, plus the coffee was strong and very fresh. Their coffee menu also offers cappuccino, americanos, chai lattes, and more.
Nothing says rainy day vibes more than sipping on hot tea at a book store. The tea comes either as a cup, iced or as a pot. They have a great selection from oolong, earl grey, rooibos, and more. I settled with the Sunset Orange Rooibos which was lovely. The orange aroma and flowery taste were calming and delicious.
Also on the menu are light snacks from savory dips to sweet treats. The Pimento Cheese Dip was a great choice to satisfy my munchies. The cheese was fresh and sharp with even a slight spice to it. You can't go wrong with a cheese dip!
Book + Bottle is a one stop shop for gifts too. Grab a bottle of wine, maybe a new cookbook, and browse through their gift section of candles, cards, accessories and more!
