Green Light Bar Debuts in Edgemoor Area of St. Pete

UPDATE: November 21, 2019 – Permanently Closed.

It’s a little bit divey, it’s a little bit hipster, and it’s a little bit little … but it’s real big on amazing sushi, plus there’s CBD Infused Tea, along with Kava, and Kratom—everything today’s modern customer needs! Head up 4th St. North, hang a right on 62nd Ave N., and it’s a little bit up on the left. When I first pulled into the parking lot, I have to be honest—I almost pulled back out. There’s a dicey looking convenience store, and I’m not feeling too sure about the neighborhood, but I have a duty to perform. If you get that feeling, put it aside like I did as it’s a real cool place. We did get a couple of “out there” customers from “the other side of the tracks”, but it was a little added entertainment to the great food, and super nice staff.

Green Light Bar has a hip vibe, excellent sushi, and quite an extensive menu for a small place. Food-wise, the focus is on sushi rolls, sashimi, and rice bowls, but there are also salads, soups, and appetizers.

The owners are Irma Radosavljevic, and Angel Alonzo. Nini, the sushi chef has 15-years of experience making sushi.

There’s outdoor seating and games, a pool table and lounge area inside.

Craig, the General Manager, and Nini spent a couple of hours with me explaining the unique items while I kept eating and eating. The food was all of the utmost quality and flavor. I immensely enjoyed it.
