Say Cheeeeese! It’s Time to Visit Fo’ Cheezy Twisted Meltz in St. Pete Beach

Release your inner child by eating your way through Fo’ Cheezy Twisted Meltz, but be warned, it’s not yo mama’s grilled cheese. Fo’ Cheezy Twisted Meltz in St. Pete Beach offers next level twists on an old American classic.

Maybe you’ve seen the Fo’ Cheezy food truck at a market or driving around town, but you have to take a visit to their restaurant for the ultimate experience that’ll take you to another world.

The graffiti art and vibrant colors of the building make Fo’ Cheezy stand out in a unique and edgy way on Gulf Blvd. The loud rap music, more subway art, and funny menu titles add an urban personality and some swagger to Fo’ Cheezy that you really won’t find anywhere else.

Chef Robert Hesse was a fan favorite on Hell’s Kitchen with Chef Gordon Ramsay, he’s made multiple other appearances on Food Network, was a private chef to a variety of celebrities and more. After all of those successes, he decided to create Fo’ Cheezy taking an artisan craft on grilled cheese melts with all the food porn, oozy, cheesy drips and more.

All of Da’ Meltz come on artisan sourdough or cracked whole wheat bread, served with dope tater chipz. You can request gluten free bread and vegan cheese too. You can ‘combo it up’ for $4 to add tots and a drink.

You know what’s better than a classic grilled cheese? The Mac N’ Rib. A grilled cheese melt with a sublime mix of sharp cheddar, BBQ pulled pork, smoked bacon, Fo’ Cheezy Mac N’ Cheese, crispy onions and honey drunk BBQ. The comforting and savory flavors will drive you right into a food coma.

I upgraded my side from the Dirty Chipz to the Fancy Tots which are truffle laced with a parmesan herb shake and Dope Sauce. The crunchy outside with the sprinkled cheese was savory and delicious.

The Purple Drank is a must. It’s refreshing and sweet with prickly pear, blackberry and lemonade. I highly recommend it, if you’re already splurging on lunch and want a sugary, yet delicious drink too.

Fo' Cheezy Twisted Meltz Cheezy Caprese

The Cheezy Caprese is a made up of buffalo mozzarella, provolone, whipped ricotta, basil pesto bruschetta tomatoes, picked red onion and balsamic syrup. Each bite was refreshing and you can really tell that they use high quality ingredients here. The flavors were bursting.

For a side with the Cheezy Caprese, we upgraded to the Loaded Tots with smoked bacon, fondue, sour cream and scallions. Imagine a loaded baked potato but way easier to snack on. The crispiness from the tots and bacon made this side one to rave about.

Fo' Cheezy Twisted Meltz Triple OG
Triple OG

Sometimes you just need to take it cheesy. I kept it classic with the Triple O.G. Melt with American, aged Swiss and sharp cheddar. The ooziness of this melt was insane. After a few bites I was full, but I wanted more of course. The bread was perfectly toasted and the cheese was oh so gooey and delicious.

The Mac N’ Cheese was one of my favorite food items at Fo’ Cheezy. Topped with a tater chip crust and smoked gouda, the Mac N’ Cheese was creamy, salty and comforting.

Tomato soup like you’ve never had before. The Slap Yo Mama Mater Soup is cheesy, fresh and overall amazing with added sharp cheddar and delicious cheesy herb croutons that I accidentally ate before I took the picture above.

Fo' Cheezy Twisted Meltz Half Baked Milkshake
Half Baked Milkshake

The Half Baked Milkshake is something you need, yes need, in your life if you’re a milkshake enthusiast like myself. With five handspun milkshakes to choose from on the menu, I choose the Half Baked because it has cookies and cream ice cream, cookie dough, Oreo crumb, cookie crisp and whipped cream. I’d highly recommend ordering this because who doesn’t love ice cream, cookies, and a whole lotta chocolate? It’s a delicious dessert to cure that sweet tooth.

Fo’ Cheezy also has a dessert menu with insane doughnuts and other goodies. If you’re trying to stay on the healthier side, they also offer a few green salads and soups.

The next time you’re ready to indulge and have a major cheat meal, head over to Fo’ Cheezy Twisted Meltz for an ultimate grilled cheese experience!
