Interview with Chef Joshua Breen, Rene Hernandez & Allison Harris from Annata & Alto Mare

Welcome to the St. Petersburg Foodies Podcast. We have a bonus interview on this episode in lieu of a KevLo foodie conversation for our first segment. We recorded our feature interview with our trio from Annata Restaurant & Wine Bar, but then we had late breaking news on the new seafood restaurant, Alto Mare Fish Bar. Chef Joshua Breen and Allison Harris returned prior to airtime so we could record a short second interview (which will air first) with new information on Alto Mare. Then for our feature interview, Sommelier Rene Hernandez joins in for the interview on Annata Restaurant & Wine Bar. Leon Majcen is the featured local music artist with his song, “Heartbreak Blues” from his new album, “Numb”. For the Tip of the Week, Lori starts a 4-part series on how she finds the best restaurants when we travel for business or pleasure.

DISCLAIMER: Kevin, Lori, Abby, Haley, Lindsey & Mahika do not dine anonymously (this would be impossible) and we sometimes get free food (though never expected). However, we dine with the locals and we support our own. You will always get honesty in a respectful manner. We do not include any large national or regional chains in our ratings and reviews. We focus on independent locally owned eateries exclusively.

PLEASE NOTE: Reviews reflect a certain moment in time. Some restaurants stay extremely consistent over many years, and some change for the better or worse. Some things that may change are: chefs, recipes, food suppliers, ingredients, philosophies, ownership, etc. We always hope that you have the same good, or great experience we had.
