Fuel your Body at Greenstock with Fresh Salads & Wraps in Downtown St. Pete

If you’re looking for a superb salad that’ll make you feel good and keep you coming back time and time again, head over to Greenstock in downtown St. Pete. Greenstock is a chef-driven, ingredient-focused salad eatery right on the 400 block of Central Avenue.

When you’re looking for something on the healthier side, Greenstock is here, and provides the freshest salads and wraps around. We’re not kidding about it being the freshest. They source their produce and ingredients from local farms and purveyors whenever they can, the dressings are made in-house, and everything is prepared fresh daily.

Greenstock is locally owned by the brilliant minds and gifted chef at IL Ritorno; Chef David Benstock and wife and business partner, Erica Benstock. They partnered up with local entrepreneurs Brooke and Peter Boyd, owners of Hype Group, and Boyd Construction. This great collaboration of talent created one of the best health-conscious spots in the burg!

They offer two sizes for their salads; the big green and the little green. You can either order one of their Chef Inspired salads that are thoughtfully created or you can build your own, the You Inspired. Any salad can be customized and made into a wrap. They also have great drink options and freshly baked cookies that you shouldn’t pass up!

I know I can’t be the only one that feels awkward eating a salad when I’m out in public. Sometimes the pieces of lettuce are too big, or when you try to mix everything up but it becomes a huge mess. At Greenstock, there’s nothing to worry about. They mix the salad and chop it up. With each bite, you’ll get a fork-full of a variety of flavors.

Greenstock Produce
All the Greens!

They have an enormous amount of produce from greens to veggies, proteins, and house-made dressings. They add all of the ingredients to a huge bowl right in front of you, toss it, and then chop it!

Kevin ordered the Chef Inspired Corn Caesar. Here’s a little rundown of the production:

They’re mindful about the amount of dressing that goes onto your salad and you can always order on the side too!

Ta-da! A beautiful and bright Chef Inspired Corn Caesar salad with romaine, baby kale, tomatoes, corn, croutons, parmesan and caesar dressing.

Kevin says he always enjoys a good caesar salad. He especially liked the fresh corn, kale, and the croutons. Greenstock has the actual corn ears on display! We were amused by that. Fun fact: the croutons are from the focaccia bread at IL Ritorno. I personally could eat a handful of them without any guilt, they’re so good!

Lori ordered the Chef Inspired Sweet Tooth salad with arugula, spinach, strawberries, apple, goat cheese, sunflower seeds, tomato, grapes and balsamic vinaigrette.

Lori appreciated this light and refreshing salad for the excellent combination of ingredients and toppings. She loved the crunch from the apple and the nuttiness from the sunflower seeds. What a great complementary salad!

From the extensive You Inspired list, I created the perfect bowl to my liking with the greenstock blend, spinach, cucumbers, mushrooms, broccoli/cauliflower mix, croutons, grilled mojo chicken thighs, and cilantro lime garlic vinaigrette.

This green salad is exactly what I needed. It was packed with my favorite veggies and made me feel so great after. The croutons, as mentioned before, are seriously a game changer! I liked the cilantro lime garlic vinaigrette so much that I don’t know if I’d want to ever switch it up!

Greenstock is available for pickup and delivery, making it super convenient to be lazy at home but still fuel your body with a nutritious meal. I ordered Greenstock on UberEats and the quality of everything was great!

In my opinion, Greenstock also offers the perfect lunch for when you’re craving a wrap versus a salad. I ordered the Chef Inspired BLAT with romaine, spinach, arugula, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, pickled red onion, croutons and ranch, as a wrap. I also ordered a hibiscus Sunny Culture sparking kefir and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie.

I was surprised by the portion size of this wrap! As I finished the first half, I was pretty much full already, so I saved the second half for later. The BLAT Wrap is jam-packed with wholesome ingredients and the ranch dressing had just the right amount to taste but not too overpowerful. The only thing I would do differently next time is to add chicken.

The freshly baked chocolate chip cookie was just what I needed for a little sweet treat after the wrap.

As the label states on the cookie, life is about balance. If you have a sweet tooth like me, I’d definitely recommend snagging one of these!

The health-conscious options at Greenstock are exactly what downtown St. Pete needed!
