Back by popular demand…Simmer & Sift brings to life culinary masterpieces by the area’s hottest chefs. Chef David Benstock will be cooking at the last installment of the third annual Simmer & Sift event of 2018 hosted by the Museum of Fine Arts on Wednesday, September 26 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Chef David’s experience has come from working his way through the ranks at many lauded restaurants including The Modern in NYC. He at one point ran the front line at Wolfgang Puck Spago in Colorado. After a sharp focus on Italian cuisine while at Fontainebleau Scarpetta in Miami, Chef David aspired to put his own unique twist on traditional Italian dishes. Upon returning to St. Pete, the modern Italian cooking style that is Il Ritorno (which means The Return in Italian) was born. Last summer 2017, Chef David was invited to cook at the esteemed James Beard House in New York City.
