Brass Bowl Kitchen & Juicery to Open Summer 2018

UPDATE MARCH 25, 2019:
Brass Bowl is now opening April 1st. Here’s a preview / review.

We recently told you about Maple Street Biscuit Co. opening on the 600 block of Central Ave.

Now, helping to round out the offering of edibles on the 600 block, we have Brass Bowl.

Residing at 656 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33701—The Brass Bowl Kitchen & Juicery is a chef-driven concept, sourced from 100% organic ingredients, encompassing the nouveau lifestyle approach to eating and cooking well; sustainable, body-nourishing, and celebrating the harmony of vibrant ingredients.

The Juicery will have 100% organic cold press in the space next door at 656 Central. The cold press bar will feature holistic tonics and elixirs, acai bowls, and macro-focused dietary supplements.

Rob Arias and Chef Jason R. Gordon are in development on the menu now, and have shared some of the dishes below.

Via email, Rob Arias tells us:

Everything is 100% organic, made from scratch. We will not have a single freezer as part of our design, we have some fun and exciting plans for the space and hope to push the envelope from a service and culinary standpoint. People often associate healthy or organic with flavorless or “yucky”. We want to change that perception by having one of the most talented young Chefs (Jason Gordon) in the US take the wheel at this chef driven concept.

Speaking with Rob Arias on the phone, he tells us: “Think of this as SOHO Juice Co. on steroids … meets Oxford Exchange.”

They will have merchandise, such as jewelry made from recycled fishing nets, and recycled ocean trash. All merchandise will be made from recycled materials.

The anticipated opening date is around August 2018.

Keep in mind that restaurant opening dates are a moving target in St. Petersburg, so bookmark our site and watch this space for updates.

Healthy & organic, but flavorful foods and juices. Changing the impression that healthy means tasteless.
